Surely, some of you agree.
I canceled their service, then they called me with a promotion that gave me something like 100 channels, essentially for free. But when I go to plug in the box, I discover that there’s no HDMI connection and if I want that, I have to pay extra. In 2016, if you want to connect your TV with an HDMI cable, you have to pay extra. No thanks.

I ditched all the cable about 5 years ago. Never regretted it. The only thing I miss is some live sports, which are getting way better. Just step up to a commercial internet connection, get Netflix, Amazon and hulu and you still save money.

My wife and I are finding plenty of GOOD content, much of it original, on Netflix. And 720p.
